台灣救狗協會The Taiwan Dog Saving Association

基於「眾生平等、慈悲相待」之理念，於2007年成立「台灣救狗協會」。原本是以收容棄養之流浪狗為救護對象，使其免遭撲殺，後因收養的流浪狗日益增多，進而成立7所專門照顧流浪狗的養護園區。然而園區的擴建速度仍舊趕不上流浪狗的快速增加，於是另安置近千隻狗兒遷移到中華護生協會的兩所園區，令其獲得安養。至2021年元月份統計，救狗協會至少救護了超過九千六百隻流浪狗，現園區尚護養近514隻流浪狗。

除了救援流浪狗的行動之外，台灣救狗協會還為照顧流浪狗的善心人士提供長期素食的狗飼料。同時與護生協會透過各類相關活動呼籲大眾重視生命，愛惜生命，使人與萬物之間，皆能互愛共存，進而能消弭暴戾之氣，促進社會祥和。在與印經協會相關之合作方面，則計劃製作、發行以「愛護流浪狗」為主題之影音光碟、書籍等，以宣導本會愛護動物之理念。

The Association was established in 2007, with the principle of‘being kind and compassionate to all beings, as we are all equal’. While it initially aimed to rescue stray dogs, seven special caring parks have been built exclusively for accommodating stray dogs as their number rises. Besides, nearly a thousand dogs have been accommodated in another two further parks under the Life Caring Association due to limited spaces in the existing Dog Saving Parks. By January 2021, over nine thousand six hundred stray dogs have been rescued, and more than five hundred stray dogs are being cared for in the parks.

Apart from rescue action, the Association also offers long-term provision of vegetarian dog food to people caring for stray dogs. It also holds a variety of activities in collaboration with the Life Caring Association to promote the idea of showing love and respect to all lives - thus everyone can live harmoniously in the world. In the future, the Association will produce videos and books to promote the idea of‘caring for stray dogs with love’ with the support of the Life Culture Foundation.

此次課程培訓班，感謝講師　陳信宏及講師　黃文堂親臨指導。此次來上課的菩薩大德們不辭辛勞從各地前來上課，這種心意真的讓我很欽佩與感動。豐富的課程內容，使我們對於狗兒的照顧有更深入的了解及認識，並且能夠知道犬隻生病時，有哪些徵兆及處理方式；規劃犬舍時如何去設計犬舍格局、動線與框養犬隻分配；如何引導新進職工快速的了解工作內容及應有的知識等，這些課程、新知都有益我們在照顧狗兒時做正確的判斷及救護。

真的很感謝兩位講師及撥空前來參與、學習課程的大德們，由於大家的愛心及悲心，使得這次課程能圓滿完成。在佛陀心中，所有眾生皆是平等的，我們對其伸出援手、為其付出，都是等同於幫助眾生，亦是慈悲的菩薩善行。

台灣救狗協會希望透過護養、認養、宣導關懷流浪狗等相關活動，呼籲大眾重視生命、愛惜生命，使人與萬物之間皆能互愛共存，進而消弭暴戾之氣，促進社會祥和，不只是帶給狗幸福，更希望這股「善」的力量能普及到人間，成為全人類的共同善緣。〈此活動於高雄生命講堂舉辦〉
